If you like reading this blog and you want to read more articles that I find interesting but don’t have time to blog about, feel free to follow me on Kippt (and also Twitter, but I put even more links on Kippt now). It’s my new obsession that is filling the Google Reader sharing-shaped hole in my heart.
My Google Reader is pretty much the only reason I ever know anything.
Bundle Up: Web Comics
I just discovered Google Reader bundles and they are my new favorite thing (they’ve been around since last May, but apparently I live in a cave?). Here’s a bundle of my favorite web comics. You can also follow my shared items, if you’re so inclined.
Wow, my friend Matt’s latest video is on Boing Boing! He invented a footpedal that can scroll through Google Reader items for my colleague/friend Lauren (and yes, she’s actually using it at our office). Matt is also probably the only person I know who just happens to own a soldering iron and something called a Dremel, which I’ve never even heard of before.
Google Reader
Is where I share the things I read and enjoyed but was too lazy to blog or tweet about. Follow me, if you’re into that sort of thing.
Google Reader Share of the Day (from Andrew): “I’m sharing this because I think it was an oversight that Alyssa did not. Her share button must be broken.”
When I was little, I was a huge bookworm (probably because I didn’t have access to the internet yet). But lately, I don’t read many books because I’m too consumed with newspapers, magazines and my Google Reader. I feel pretty bad about it.
I really love Cat’s Cradle and I think about it a lot. I also love A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, even though everyone seems to hate that book now. The most recent book I read that I felt really obsessed with was I Was Told There’d Be Cake (this is probably also cliche, but whatever).
The books I reread most often are probably my Dorothy Parker and Edna St. Vincent Millay poetry collections. They never get old.
My Google Reader Shared Items
Are you as obsessed with your Google Reader as I am with mine? Follow me.
For the record, they were Shar-Peis

Funny moment of day: was doing a training session with 12 clients and was showing them Google Reader. I used mine for a demo and we were discussing shared items. I clicked through and the first thing that popped up was a picture of nude David Hasselhoff wearing two pugs…that’s my girlfriend!
