My least favorite new hobby is trimming my bangs. I don’t know if my hair grows superhumanly fast or what, but I have to snip those things at least every other week. I need a bangs mentor who can show me how to do this without getting hair splinters all over my face and IN MY EYES. Like, stuck to my actual eyeball. It is not pleasant.
Also, the tiny hair bits are really hard to brush off my nose and then I get scared that they’re going to pierce my skin and enter my bloodstream, stab me in the heart and kill me. I have been poked by hair splinters many a time, because that is what happens when you have hair that is about the same thickness and texture of a horse’s.
Somehow, I don’t think Zooey Deschanel has these problems.
