FWD Thinking: The Lifespan of a Tweet
Sometimes it’s frustrating to think about how much on the internet is all about timing, especially on Twitter. Even if you post something really interesting, it will only go viral if the right people happen to see it at exactly the right time (and speculation about what that time is varies). Depending on how many people they follow, that little tweet could only have a one-in-a-thousand chance of being seen by its intended audience.
